Tai Chi

qigongTai Chi has evolved from the practice of martial arts over the centuries. The speed of movements has become slow and smooth to develop so that gradually, instead of fighting, the method has been taught to promote movement and flexibility of the joints and muscles. At an advanced level practitioners use breathing and concentration of thought to influence the chi and spirit. This is one of the unique, artistic, gentle exercises.
